Objective: To establish a standard maintenance procedure of Hoist
Scope: This SOP is applicable for Hoist of (Company Name).
Responsibility
1. Operator shall be responsible to follow the procedure strictly.
2. Supervisor shall be responsible to ensure that the SOP is followed properly.
Accountability: Head of Engineering
Precautions
1. Before starting maintenance hang the board “UNDER MAINTENANCE”
2. Electriceal power must be isolated.
Procedure
6.1. The preventive maintenance procedure consists of half yearly maintenance. Carry out the works as per the Maintenance Check list shown in ANEXURE-I. The format annexed is of duration of 6 months. For the use of subsequent period of different durations, the same format with appropriate month and year to be printed in the format. This printed format will be a controlled copy issued by Q.A.
6.2. HALF-YEARLY MAINTENANCE:
6.2.1 Check cable coils and controller body for dirt/ debris and clean as necessary.
6.2.2 Check for dirt in the Panel.
6.2.3 Disconnect power source and lock out. Check tightness of power wiring connections.
6.2.4 Check the tightness of the basement and tight if required.
6.2.5 Check the coil resistance and insulation resistance of motor by Megha tester.
6.2.6 Oil and grease the moving part if needed
