1.0 OBJECTIVE
To provide a safe operating, loading and unloading procedure for Hoist at VISION Unit.
2.0 SCOPE
This SOP is applicable for Production Department.
3.0 ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS
Not applicable.
4.0 RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY
4.1 All Production personnel shall be responsible for implementation of the procedure.
4.2 Manager, Production or his Designee shall be accountable for training and implementation of the procedure.

6.0 PRECAUTIONS /SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Do not press any button present inside the Hoist
6.2 Do not open the door if the Hoist is present at the middle of the two floor
6.3 Do not exceed load capacity limits (NMT 2 tons).
6.4 Do not Contact Materials with hoist walls
6.5 Close the Gate before operating the hoist.
6.6 If any abnormal sound is heard, inform immediately to the engineering personnel.
7.0 PROCEDURE
7.1 For Loading of Materials:
7.1.1 If the Hoist is not present at the floor level Press or button located beside the wall of the Hoist to bring it to the level.
7.1.2 When the hoist comes at the floor level, open the collapsible gate.
7.1.3 Turn the auto switch to ‘OFF’
7.1.4 Check the Pallet placed in the Hoist.
7.1.5 Load the materials (RM, PM & Finished goods) on the pallet.
7.1.6 Close the collapsible gate.
7.1.7 Turn the auto switch to ‘ON’
7.2 For Unloading for Raw Material:
7.2.1 After loading of materials from the floor Press or button from the unloading floor. When the Hoist comes at the floor, open the collapsible gate.
7.2.2 Turn the auto switch to ‘OFF’
7.2.3 Manually unload the materials on a trolley.
7.2.4 Close the collapsible gate.
7.2.5 Turn the auto switch to ‘ON’.
7.3 CLEANING
Wipe the floor, wall & ceiling of the hoist with 70% IPA solution.
