Disintegration

Single solid dosage forms or break large granules into smaller ones (less than 2 mm). In most cases dissolution is directly proportional to dissociation. The solid dosage form disintegrates more quickly, dissolves more quickly and goes into the systemic circulation and produces a therapeutic response.

The official limit of disintegration is not more than 15 minutes for uncoated tablets and not more than 30 minutes for coated tablets. (It takes up 2 hours in gastric simulated fluid for intestinal coating and then dissolves in 1 hour in intestinal simulated fluid)
