Objective: To ensure proper transfer procedure of materials through Pass Box
Scope: This SOP is applicable for the pass boxes of Mixing and Filling area.

Procedure:
=>> General Instructions
=>> Definition: Pass box shall be defined as a passage with two doors in between two adjacent rooms.
=>> There are three pass boxes in MDI Plant. They are:
=>> Pass box in between Materials Air Lock (S01) and Materials store (S02).
=>> Pass box in between Can cleaning room (M01) and mixing and filling room (M02).
=>> Pass box in between Mixing and filling room (M02) and Weight Checkroom (P01).
=>> Pass boxes shall be used only for transfer of materials. Two doors of Pass box shall never be opened together during operation.
=>> Pass Box shall be used for transfer of materials from material airlock (S01) to Material store (S02), from Can cleaning Room (M01) to Mixing and filling room (M02) and Mixing and filling room (M02) to Weigh check Room (P01) and vice versa.
=>> Procedure to transfer materials through Pass Box.
=>> Open the door of the transferring side.
=>> Place the material in the Pass Box and close the door.
=>> Open the door of the receiving side.
=>> Remove the material from the Pass Box and close the door.
=>> Place the material in the right place where it shall be used.
