Tips to prevent pharmaceutical contamination

=>> Sample only one element at a time

=>> Sampling in a separate cubicle/booth fitted with suitable air control system.

=>> Use of dedicated tools for sampling

=>> Dispensing stations must be equipped with suitable dust extraction systems.

=>> All packaged containers must be effectively cleaned before entering storage.

=>> Develop and follow appropriate equipment cleaning procedures. Check them periodically to ensure effectiveness

=>> Check and ensure the integrity of the oil seals regularly.

=>> Air supply systems for production and distribution areas must be designed to avoid (or) contamination in the air flow in the production area.

=>> Do not return samples drawn for in-process control in the original container.

=>> As much as possible, the material should be unidirectional during the process.

=>> Monitor water quality regularly, especially for microbial contamination.

=>> Simultaneous charging of raw materials for two different batches, two different phases and two different products should be avoided.

=>> Simultaneous unloading of materials for two different batches, two different stages and two different products should be avoided.

=>> Line clearance should be obtained for product change. A single individual impurity change does not exceed 0.1% (1000 PPM). Total impurities not more than 0.5% (5000 PPM).
