The liquid which consists of two phases areknown as biphasic liquids.

Also based on routes of administration, Liquid preparations can be either sterile or non-sterile
Parenteral Medications: Sterile products administered by injection or infusion in order to bypass thegastrointestinal tract. Administration involves the use of a needle to penetrate the skin.
