Consistency between quality and specification

When the product specification is established based on the product quality defined above, it is necessary to verify that the specification adequately specifies the product quality. (Conformity between standard and specification)

In short, conformity between quality and specification is the assurance in the product specification that the quality predetermined in the quality design is ensured as production quality and that the product satisfies the design quality.

In the factory production review, since the production method is established in a limited quantity and with a limited resource of raw materials, the product specification should be established based on the data from the study results of the limited lot; However, the relationship between the upper and lower limits of the production formula (composition and production method) and the relationship between the upper and lower control limits of product specifications should be fully understood, and consistency between product quality and specifications should be maintained.

Also, since initial production formulas and specifications are established based on limited information, consistency between quality and specifications should be thoroughly verified after production begins and, if necessary, conformance corrected through appropriate change control.
