Following GMP regulations is not the responsibility of any individual in the facility but is a collective effort from junior staff to senior management. All departments have to play their important role to comply with GMP regulations. Quality Assurance Head of Quality Assurance is mainly responsible for any GMP violations to ensure product quality there. Quality control also plays an important role in maintaining product quality so the product analyst is also responsible for producing quality compromised products.
Senior management should keep a close eye on the implementation of GMP regulations and visit the production area at regular intervals. Senior management involvement in implementing GMP regulations will motivate junior staff to follow recommendations.
A strong quality management system should be implemented to reduce the possibility of GMP violations in the facility and employees should be properly trained to perform their duties. If someone in the facility experiences a GMP violation, they must speak to the plant manager or head of quality assurance to resolve the issue. All company employees must be well trained to spot GMP problems and must know all GMP recommendations.
