Auditing for GMP is specifically designed to address the challenges of GMP auditing for the food or pharmaceutical industry and to present the basic skills required to effectively perform the auditor’s assigned responsibilities and contribute to the improvement of auditor performance within a regulated industry. Audits can be divided into products, processes and management systems and can be performed by internal inspection or regulated audit teams. As a manufacturer you are responsible for the entire process and products, even for used products produced by others. It is advisable that a manufacturer plan to audit raw material suppliers and check their organization. Other parties must be qualified and certified to obtain a reliable and reproducible product quality.
