Purpose: To lay down operating procedure for the Operation of Peristaltic pump.
Scope: This procedure is applicable for
Responsibility: Production Chemist To supervise the activity
Pre-operating Check: Ensure that the line clearance is done.
Equipment used: Peristaltic pump
Operating procedure:
1. Connect the silicone tube to coating solution container and spray gun nozzle.
2. Fit the tube in peristaltic pump.
3. Pour the coating solution in to the s.s tank.
4. Switch on the peristaltic pump.
5. Set the RPM of peristaltic pump as required by moving speed knob to clockwise
direction.
6. Check the spray pattern.
7. Load the tablet in the coating pan.
8. Coating process to be done for single tubing peristaltic pump as per SOP no. and four
tubing peristaltic pump as per SOP no
9. After completion of coating reduce the RPM of peristaltic to one by moving speed knob
to ant clockwise direction.
10. Switch of peristaltic pump.
11. Clean the peristaltic pump
