Objective To establish a standard procedure for destruction of filters.
Scope This procedure is applicable for destruction of filters in (Company Name).
Responsibility
1. Operator shall be responsible to follow the procedure strictly.
2. Supervisor shall be responsible to ensure that the SOP is followed properly.
Precautions Concerned personnel should be trained on the SOP
Procedure
After replacement of filter, the faulty one is to be destroyed according to the following procedure:
1. Take the filter to dumping yard
2. Puncture the filter to prevent further misuse
3. Dump the filter in the dumping area.
