Production and filling of soft gelatin capsules are done simultaneously in the same machine. The contents of the capsule are filled during shell making. These capsules dissolve in the stomach within minutes and release the contents. It contains 5% to 14% moisture. Sometimes soft gelatin capsules are printed with the brand name or strength.
