Pharmacology is a specialized branch of health sciences that basically acts as a link between chemistry and biology. Mainly deals with preparation of medicine and safe and proper use, distribution and serving of medicine, etc. In the modern era, drug preparation and user experience in preparation and storage of drugs, distribution of accurate information about drugs, ensuring its correct and safe use, proper patient-oriented administration, etc. “Pharmacy” is the English term for the science of drug preparation and use; The term comes from the ancient Greek word “Pharmakon” one of the multiple lexical meanings of which is “medicine”. Those who prepare and use medicines are called “pharmacists” in English terminology.
There are three main basic divisions of pharmaceutical preparation and utilization science. These are pharmaceuticals, pharmacology and clinical research.
The pharmaceutical science section deals in detail with the process of manufacturing different types of drugs from pure medicinal raw materials or ingredients. This includes the use of additional compounds used with effective medicinal compounds (Excipients), details of necessary equipment (Tooling), formulation and preparation (Formulation and Preparation), packaging (Packaging) and its materials, etc. Dosage Form Design is part of pharmaceutical science. This sub-section focuses on drug particles and their properties; Accompanied by pre-formulation. Pre-preparation refers to the activities to be done before the preparation of the medicine, such as the Accelerated Stability Testing required for the preparation of tablets.
