Personal hygiene


1 All workers should, before and during employment, undergo health checks as appropriate. Personnel conducting visual inspections should also undergo periodic eye examinations.

2 All staff should be trained in personal hygiene practices. A high level of personal hygiene should be observed by all involved in the manufacturing process. In particular, workers should be instructed to wash their hands before entering production areas. Signs to this effect should be posted and instructions should be followed.

3 Any person who at any time exhibits an apparent illness or open wound which may adversely affect the quality of the product should not be allowed to handle starting materials, packaging materials, in-process materials or drug products until the condition has been further investigated. be a risk

4 All employees should be instructed and encouraged to report immediately to their diet supervisor any conditions (relating to plant, equipment or personnel) which they believe may adversely affect the products.

5 Direct contact between operator’s hands and starting materials, primary packaging materials and intermediate or bulk products should be avoided.

6 To ensure product protection from contamination, workers should wear clean body coverings suitable for the performance of their duties, including appropriate hair covering. Used cloths, if reusable, should be stored in separate closed containers until properly washed and sterilized or sterilized if necessary.

7 Smoking, eating, drinking, chewing and consumption of plants, food, beverages, smoking materials and personal medicines should not be allowed in production, laboratory and storage areas or in any other area where they may adversely affect product quality.

8 Personal hygiene procedures, including the use of protective clothing, should apply to all persons entering the production area, whether temporary or full-time employees or non-employees, such as contractors’ employees, visitors, senior managers and inspectors.
