National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kolkata (NIPER Kolkata) is an Indian public pharmacy research university, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It has been given Institute of National Importance status as one of the seven National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPR). It offers 2-year MS (Pharm.) program and Doctoral program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The institute tied up with Sanofi India in 2016 to promote academic excellence and research in the field of pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare products to meet the current and future needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kolkata was ranked 27th in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Pharmacy Ranking in 2020.
